The Spanish Economic and Trade Office in Berlin will take part on behalf of ICEX-Invest in Spain in the Global Connect Forum to be held in Stuttgart on June 20 and 21, 2018. About this event, ICEX has explained that “our participation will consist of an information stand, a talk at a Spain country seminar and attendance at B2B meetings”.
Biannual forum
Global Connect is a biannual forum, the largest for exports and imports in Germany, that attracts companies worldwide who are interested in investing and gaining a presence in other countries. Politicians, senior executives, business leaders and entrepreneurs take part in the various conferences featured in the event, where they discuss issues concerning the latest trends in the economic situation of the international markets, and business and investment interests. There is also an exhibition area with stands for the various governments and companies to promote their countries, services and/or products.
The Ofecome will have an information stand in the exhibition area, where it will answer questions from companies interested in Spain and distribute informative and promotional material on ICEX-Invest in Spain, our services, and on the opportunities available to foreign investors in Spain.
The Economic and Trade Director will be the guest speaker in a Spain country seminar, where he will outline the current economic situation in Spain and the investment opportunities available to foreign companies. He will also meet with potential investors and companies interested in Spain.
According to the organisers of this forum, “the range of information covers everything from planning the first steps into international markets to optimizing existing cross-border economic activities. Global players as well as smaller enterprises who are new to the international business find answers to their questions on international operations.
