Startup Olé 2018 will host in Salamanca on the 17-19th April
Startup Olé is a major entrepreneurial event that, supported by the European Commission-Startup Europe, connects startups-spinoffs and tech-digital talent with corporates, investors, accelerators, universities, public administrations and media outlets. 2018 edition will gather over 7.000 attendees, 500 startups, 60 accelerators, 50 big corporates, 350 speakers, 40 public administrations and 70 investors with an investment portfolio of over €7.000 M. In this sense, according to the organisers, Startup Olé “has become a benchmark event for the European entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well an international referent in investment, wealth and job creation”. The event will celebrates in Salamanca (Spain) on the 17th – 19th April 2018.
The fourth edition
Startup Olé, in its fourth edition, is expected to be the biggest and most impactful ever. In this current edition the organisers expect over 500 Startups, 60 Accelerators, 50 Corporates, 350 Speakers and 70 Investors with a total investment portfolio of over €10 billion. We are working very hard to bring you a great event full of opportunities (matchmaking, startup fair, pitching competition, panel sessions, and above all lots of networking!).
As usual, in the event there will have presence startups, accelerators, corporates and investors, and also public administration, universities and media from Europe and worldwide.According to the responsibles of the fair, it expected more than 7,000 attendees and entrepreneurs thanks to startup-oriented activities, actions such as a startup fair, pitching competitions, matchmaking with corporates, curated contact with mentors and even an accelerators’ competition where you’ll get to be the judge! All that in a friendly atmosphere with lots of meaningful networking.
ICEX in the event
As a sponsor, ICEX-Invest in Spain will play an active part in Startup Olé and be present in various sessions and round tables, where it will present the program for attracting foreign talent to Spain (Rising Start Up Spain). These presentations are important for raising awareness and broadcasting information on this program, and for highlighting the opportunities offered by the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain. It will also have an information stand in the central hall and play a proactive role in bringing together foreign investors and Spanish startups in search of funding.
